The History of Ultraman

The Ultraman series began in 1966 with the original series, created by Eiji Tsuburaya. The series was an immediate success and spawned a number of sequels and spin-offs.

The basic premise of the series is that a team of scientists, known as the Science Special Search Party (SSSP), defend the environment of planetEarth from giant monsters, aliens and other threats.
