S.H.FIGUARTS: Ultraman (Type A) - Shinkocchou Seihou (Limited Edition) [Bandai Spirits]

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman Series, Ultraman (Type A) joins Bandai’s S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) lineup, faithfully recreated using body-scan data from original suit actor Bin Furuya.

The figure’s sculpt and proportions thoroughly reproduce the distinctive balance, body lines, and mask design of the original Type A suit. Created with the cooperation of LSS, Tsuburaya Productions’ sculpting division, the prototype was sculpted by Minoru Narita, who also worked on the S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Ultraman Tiga series.

Soft components and carefully positioned part divisions provide a wide range of articulation while preserving the character’s screen-accurate silhouette. This construction allows collectors to recreate memorable poses and action scenes without compromising the distinctive proportions of the Type A design.

Accessories include a Specium Ray effect part based on its appearance in Episodes 1 through 13 of Ultraman, along with an Ultra Water Stream effect part inspired by the scene from Episode 13, “Oil S.O.S.” Seven interchangeable left hands, six interchangeable right hands, and a red replacement Color Timer provide further display options.
