S.H.FIGUARTS: Ultraman - Jirahs (Limited Edition) [Bandai Spirits]

Japanese Original Edition, Brand New S.H.Figuarts Figure 

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series, S.H.Figuarts Jirahs joins the Ultraman lineup as a completely newly sculpted figure, produced under the direction of renowned creator Yuji Sakai, who supervised the prototype, coloring, and overall sculpting process.

The figure’s sculpt was created with cooperation from Tsuburaya Productions’ LSS modeling department and Yuji Sakai’s production direction, faithfully recreating the distinctive appearance of Jirahs from the original series. The articulation system was designed by Mitsuhiko Hosokawa, known for developing the movement mechanisms of various monsters and aliens across the S.H.MonsterArts and S.H.Figuarts Ultraman series, allowing for dynamic poses inspired by the character’s on-screen battles.

The coloring was also developed from Yuji Sakai’s painted prototype, using extensive reference materials to capture Jirahs’ iconic appearance. A replacement neck part is included to recreate the damaged state with the collar removed, allowing collectors to recreate the intense battle scene with the separately sold S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Ultraman (Type A).
