Crafted by Fujitaka Towel, the oldest towel manufacturer in Imabari—Japan’s most renowned towel-producing region since 1919—this towel goes far beyond ordinary designs.

Unlike standard short-pile printed towels, the patented Gosaiori technique utilizes a jacquard weave of six pre-dyed threads (red, blue, yellow, black, white, and brown). This creates a dense, three-dimensional fabric that captures vivid illustrations while retaining the plush softness of pile weaving. The result is a towel with remarkable depth, durability, and resistance to fading, making it as practical as it is beautiful.
