From concept artist Emerson Tung’s original mecha universe TANKHEAD, the TYPE 33 HEIKEGANI arrives from Bellfine as a 1/48 scale plastic model kit, bringing one of the setting’s most distinctive heavy combat machines into model form.

TANKHEAD is set against the backdrop of the global conflict known as the Neverwar on the planet Erde, combining military hardware with bold biomechanical silhouettes. The TYPE 33 HEIKEGANI belongs to the Yamaiichi Dominion, a faction shaped by Japanese cultural and visual influences.

Inspired by the Heikegani crab, whose shell is famously associated with the appearance of a samurai face, the machine features a low-slung six-legged configuration and a heavily armed loadout including a 120 mm main gun, missiles, and rotary cannons. Its organic profile and functional military detailing blend Emerson Tung’s interpretation of Japanese motifs with the industrial aesthetic that defines the TANKHEAD world.
