The German 8-Wheeled Heavy Armored Car Sd. Kfz. 232 joins Tamiya’s 1/48 Military Miniature Series as a plastic model kit recreating the distinctive reconnaissance vehicle used by German forces during World War II.

The model captures the Sd.Kfz.232’s angular armored body, eight-wheel drive layout, and large frame antenna mounted above the turret. Its suspension is reproduced with a simplified parts configuration for easier assembly while retaining plenty of mechanical detail, and the turret remains movable with the antenna attached to its pivot. The kit also includes a commander torso figure and two marking options representing vehicles from the Balkan and Kursk campaigns.
