The German Heavy Tractor SS-100 joins Tamiya’s 1/48 Military Miniature Series as a plastic model kit recreating the powerful military tractor widely used by German forces for transport and towing duties during World War II.

Originally based on a Hanomag agricultural tractor, the SS-100 was equipped with a 100 hp six-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine and could tow loads of up to 20 tons. The model reproduces its large, sturdy body, detailed chassis, and cabin interior while keeping assembly straightforward. It also includes a driver figure, four marking options for Army, Navy, and Air Force vehicles, and a tow bar compatible with Tamiya’s 1/48 Heinkel He 219 Uhu model.
