This Fujimi 1/12 scale model kit recreates the 1985 Yamaha FZR750 (OW74) Sonauto Yamaha Bol d’Or 24 Hours Specification, finished in its distinctive Gauloises racing colors.

Developed by Yamaha from the production FZ750 as a TT-F1 machine intended to conquer Suzuka, the OW74 initially competed during the 1985 season in the familiar TECH21 livery. It was later entrusted to the French Sonauto Yamaha team and repainted in Gauloises colors for the Bol d’Or 24-hour endurance race at Circuit Paul Ricard.

Ridden by leading French racers Christian Sarron, Jacques Cornu, and Thierry Espié, the machine left a strong impression on racing fans and demonstrated the performance of Yamaha’s purpose-built endurance motorcycle.
