Chibimaru Fleet: Japanese Battleship Hiei returns in an adorable, deformed style as part of the popular palm-sized Chibimaru Fleet series. Designed with a cute, super-deformed appearance, this model captures the powerful presence of Hiei in a compact and collectible format that is both charming and easy to display.

This snap-fit kit requires no glue, and thanks to multi-color molded parts and realistic stickers, painting is not necessary. The hull is divided into upper and lower sections, allowing you to build either a waterline version or a full-hull display. For an enhanced presentation, a dedicated display stand (sold separately) can also be used.

The model is based on the battleship Hiei of the Third Battleship Division as she appeared during the Third Battle of the Solomon Sea in 1942. Unique structural differences—such as the flat side armor of Hiei’s main gun turrets compared to Kirishima’s curved design—are accurately reproduced with dedicated parts. The final-stage configuration is depicted, including anti-aircraft machine guns mounted beneath the bridge and the correct placement of the searchlight tower.

The lower hull is molded in hull red, while the upper structure is molded in standard naval gray. The deck features high-quality realistic stickers that faithfully recreate fine molded details without the need for paint. Included seals reproduce the wooden deck pattern, naval ensign, bridge windows, searchlight lenses, waterproof covers, and more. A name sticker specifically for Hiei is also included.
