1/72 Military EX Series: No.17 ML17 EX-1 JGSDF LAV - International Activities Training Unit (Plastic Model) [Fujimi]

Japanese Original Edition, Plastic Model Kit

Introducing a special 1/72 scale set of the JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle (International Activities Training Unit), featuring two vehicles and newly added real-molded tires for extra realism. This edition recreates LAVs equipped with spare tires, armored glass, added armor plates, roof rack, machine gun mount, and mission equipment as seen on vehicles assigned to the International Activities Training Unit at Komakado.

The kit uses finely detailed parts for both exterior and interior, including clear parts for lights and windows, an opening gun hatch with a 5.56 mm MINIMI, and optional radio units and fuel cans for the rear. The separate plastic wheels and rubber tires make painting and finishing easier while sharply reproducing tread patterns commonly seen on JGSDF summer tires.

A dedicated decal sheet is included with markings for multiple units, vehicle numbers, and international missions, including white UN/PKO schemes—making this special edition ideal for modern military modelers who want to build accurate JGSDF deployment vehicles straight out of the box.
