Chibimaru Fleet: Japanese Battleship Kongo [Fujimi]

Japanese Original Edition, Plastic Model Kit

Introducing a new entry in the Chibimaru Fleet series—a cute, super stylized battleship model kit that’s easy to build and fun for all ages. With fewer parts than traditional ship models and snap-fit assembly, no glue is required. The kit also features multicolored molding for a clean finish even without paint, while included stickers allow you to add wood deck textures and other details for a polished, high-quality look.

This version recreates the ship as it appeared in 1944 during the Battle of Leyte Gulf, equipped with the Type 21 radar. Differences from sister ships Hiei and Kirishima are also faithfully represented. The set includes detailed stickers for the wood deck, radar, emergency rudder, waterproof covers, lifeboat canvas, and more, along with a dedicated nameplate.

For added realism, the kit includes photo-etched parts that capture fine details impossible to express with plastic alone, such as railings, the Type 21 radar, funnel caps, and armor plates. Compatible with the separately sold display base for an even more impressive presentation.

A charming, easy-to-build kit that blends cute proportions with impressive detail—perfect for beginners, collectors, and naval model fans alike.

■ No glue required — snap-fit assembly makes building easy.
■ Comes with stickers and color-molded parts, allowing you to complete the model without painting.
