This reissue brings back the classic “Imperial Navy Series” full-hull edition once treated as a standard product, allowing builders to recreate the ship down to its lower hull.

The kit features a dedicated display stand for showcasing the completed model. The lower hull is molded as a single solid piece, with the propellers and rudder provided as separate parts for clean detailing. The six twin 25 mm AA gun mounts are offered in two styles: the traditional one-piece parts or newly included two-piece parts for improved precision and easy color separation between the metallic barrels and hull-colored bases.

The onboard aircraft are molded in gray for better workability, and decals are included for national markings and flags. To further elevate the level of realism, the kit includes photo-etched parts capable of expressing fine elements difficult to achieve with plastic alone—such as railings, ladders, boat davits, and truss platforms for fire-control devices.
