Developed to rival the M3 Stuart and M4 Sherman, the Chi-Nu featured a newly designed, angular 75 mm main gun and a welded hull with fewer rivets, giving it a cleaner, more modern appearance compared to earlier Japanese tanks. Although production began, the tank never saw combat, as units were held in reserve for the anticipated homeland defense.

This kit faithfully recreates the Chi-Nu’s distinctive silhouette using dedicated molds for key components such as the muzzle brake–equipped turret and the upper hull sections. Whether you prefer a bare-plastic finish or a painted build, the included decals allow you to add vehicle numbers and markings for extra detail.
