From Fujimi comes the 1/700 FH25: Imperial Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Hiryu (Full-Hull Plastic Model), a reissue of the classic Imperial Navy series — now featuring newly refined two-piece 25mm machine guns for enhanced realism.

This full-hull model accurately recreates the legendary aircraft carrier Hiryu, allowing you to display the entire ship including the hull below the waterline. A display stand is included for showcasing the completed model.

The lower hull is molded as a single piece, with separate parts for propellers and rudders to achieve a more realistic finish. In addition to the standard kit components, this reissue introduces newly designed precision anti-aircraft guns, with separate barrels and mounts for triple, twin, and single 25mm configurations. The Type 96 25mm guns are now molded in two pieces, allowing easy paint separation between the metallic gun barrels and the hull-colored mounts.

For improved workability, the aircraft parts are molded in gray instead of clear plastic. The set also includes a detailed decal sheet featuring Hinomaru insignias, deck markings, and flags to complete the ship’s authentic wartime appearance.
