This kit faithfully captures her distinctive features, including the forward mast fitted with Type 21 and 22 radars, the aft mast with Type 13 radar, and an array of 25mm single-mount anti-aircraft guns. The hull is molded in a one-piece structure for precise alignment, while the superstructure, turrets, funnels, and deck details are reproduced with fine sculpting to match the wartime configuration.

To push the realism further, the set includes etched parts for handrails, ladders, radars, cranes, and catapults—delicate details not possible with injection molding alone. Decals provide naval and national flags, mast markings, aircraft insignia, and late-war identification bands.
