The adorable Chibimaru Fleet series returns with a reissue of the Takao, a palm-sized, deformed version of the iconic Japanese Navy heavy cruiser. This charming and compact kit blends military history with a cute, stylized look that’s easy and fun to build.

Designed with snap-fit construction, no glue is required. Multi-colored molded parts and two types of included stickers make it possible to finish the model without painting. The version depicted is based on the 1944 configuration, featuring a mast equipped with Type 13 radar.

Also included are two types of sticker sheets: one with realistic details like the chrysanthemum crest and hinomaru markings for the onboard aircraft, and another with a nameplate-style label perfect for display. Two Type 0 three-seat reconnaissance seaplanes are also part of the set.
