Fine Molds presents a 1/35 scale plastic model of the Type 97 Light Armored Car "Te-Ke", developed by the Imperial Japanese Army as a compact, versatile vehicle for reconnaissance, patrol, and communication roles during the Second Sino-Japanese War.

Designed as the successor to the Type 94 Light Armored Vehicle (TK), the Te-Ke featured a lightweight and compact chassis that was considered one of the best in its class worldwide at the time. Two main variants were produced: one equipped with a 7.7mm machine gun and the other with a 37mm tank gun. The Te-Ke saw deployment primarily in reconnaissance regiments—formerly cavalry units converted into mechanized scouting forces. It was also widely used in tank regiments and by the Japanese Navy’s Special Naval Landing Forces.

This kit allows you to build either variant, with detailed parts faithfully recreating the vehicle’s interior. The tracks are molded in glue-together segments for ease of assembly and realism, and two tank crew figures are included for added display value.
