The Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Shokaku was a key vessel during World War II, known for its role in several major naval battles, including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of the Coral Sea. As one of the most advanced carriers of its time, Shokaku featured impressive speed, a robust air wing, and significant defensive capabilities. Part of the Shokaku class, this carrier was renowned for its durability and impact on naval aviation during the Pacific War. Its sleek design and formidable presence made it one of Japan's premier aircraft carriers before its eventual sinking during the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1944.

It also features unpainted figure parts for 353 officers and sailors in both summer and winter uniforms, with two different types of parts across five runners.
