The two-seater Valkyrie VF-1D, famously piloted by Hikaru Ichijo in the first episode of the TV anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, now joins the PLAMAX 1/72 scale VF-1 Fighter Valkyrie lineup.

Designed with ease of assembly in mind, the kit keeps the number of parts to a minimum while still delivering rich, detailed expression that captures the VF-1D’s iconic charm. The engineering minimizes joint seams and ensures each component locks securely into place, giving the completed model excellent rigidity and precise angles.

Exclusive new molds have been created for the D-type’s unique features, including the head, cockpit, and upper fuselage. The cockpit comes with figures of Hikaru Ichijo and Lynn Minmay in seated positions, enhancing its authenticity. Each part is molded in five different colors, allowing for a realistic finish straight out of the box with only stickers and decals.

As an added bonus, parts are included to display the cockpit unit mounted to other VF-1 Valkyries, expanding your options for dynamic displays.
