Japanese Original Edition, Tomytec Little Armory Series
The Type 100 submachine gun, chambered for 8mm Nambu rounds, was developed in Japan during World War II. Featuring a wooden stock and side-mounted magazine, its layout echoes that of the Bergmann MP18—the original submachine gun—while also incorporating distinct Japanese design elements such as a slender profile, unique muzzle device, and a bayonet lug.
The 8mm Nambu cartridge offers superior recoil control compared to the more common 9mm Parabellum and .45 ACP rounds, delivering increased accuracy in close-quarters engagements.
Now, Little Armory brings the Type 100 Submachine Gun (Late Model) to life as a 1/12 scale plastic model kit. The bolt is movable, and the model allows you to build it with or without the included Type 2 bayonet. You can also equip it with the Type 30 bayonet from the Type 38 rifle set (sold separately).
The box features newly illustrated artwork by Samaru, adding an extra touch of collectibility to this historical weapon kit.
