This Deluxe Edition combines the contents of both the AZ-17 Ultrasaurus and the AZ-17EX Gravity Cannon for Ultrasaurus into one complete set.

AZ-17 Ultrasaurus

Powered by an electric motor, the Ultrasaurus performs an imposing walking action at the flip of a switch. As it moves, its long neck swings back and forth while its massive tail sweeps from side to side, creating a dynamic, lifelike walking motion.

The ZOIDS Core housed in the eyes and chest lights up with built-in LEDs for an impressive display effect.

Included are six unpainted standard soldier figures (attached to runners) that can be placed inside the cockpit.

As the model walks, the 360 mm Linear Cannon and AZ 90 mm Triple Pulse Laser Gun move up and down in sync with the walking motion, while the propellers on the sides of the hull rotate.

Lower the communication antenna on the catapult deck before switching the model on to activate Underwater Diving Mode. In this mode, the walking mechanism stops automatically and the neck lowers to recreate its underwater configuration.

The power switch offers ON, OFF, and a dedicated Display Mode, which illuminates only the LEDs without activating the motor.

AZ-17EX Gravity Cannon

The Gravity Cannon makes its first-ever appearance as a fully realized model.

Mounted on the AZ-17 Ultrasaurus, it can accompany the walking action while also recreating its impressive firing sequence (the Planetal Site shell is not actually launched).

With the communication antenna folded down and the power switched on, the walking mechanism stops and the model automatically performs a complete firing sequence—from loading and deployment, to aiming and firing.
