From the CG animated film Transformers One, Shockwave is recreated in a design faithful to his on-screen appearance, transforming from robot mode into a Cybertronian vehicle.

Originally part of the underground High Guard formed by Starscream and others in opposition to the false Prime, Sentinel Prime, Shockwave later joins D-16 after he takes control of the group and rebels against Sentinel. Following D-16’s transformation into Megatron, Shockwave answers his call and becomes a Decepticon.
