Celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, MDLX Hot Rod – 40th Anniversary Edition joins the MDLX lineup with a vibrant color scheme inspired by his appearance in the animated film.

Based on the original 1980s animation design and reimagined by threezero art director Kelvin Sau, this non-transforming articulated figure stands approximately 18 cm tall and features around 46 points of articulation. Its die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame provides both durability and a wide range of dynamic posing options.

This edition is a color variation of the previously released MDLX Rodimus Prime, finished in magenta, orange, and bright yellow to recreate Hot Rod’s movie appearance. Accessories include a Laser Blaster, Blaster Rifle, and eight interchangeable hand parts, while the two weapons can be combined to form the Photon Eliminator.
