Transformers One: Soundwave (TS-44) [Takara Tomy]

Japanese Original Edition, Takara Tomy Transformers

From the CG animated film Transformers One, Soundwave is recreated by Takara Tomy in a figure that closely reflects his on-screen appearance and transforms from robot mode into a Cybertronian vehicle.

In the film, Soundwave operates as part of the underground High Guard resistance formed by Starscream and others against the false Prime, Sentinel Prime. After D-16 takes control of the High Guard, Soundwave joins him in opposing Sentinel Prime and later becomes a Decepticon alongside D-16 after his transformation into Megatron.
