From Transformers Timeline, Takara Tomy presents Bumblebee and Megatron in a deluxe two-figure set inspired by Japan’s feudal era, reimagining the iconic rivals with new beast-based ALT modes and period-inspired robot designs.

This second release in the series transforms Bumblebee into a flying squirrel beast mode, while his robot mode adopts a ninja-inspired appearance and comes equipped with ninja swords. Megatron transforms into a wild boar, with his robot mode styled after an oni; the large cannon carried on his back in beast mode converts into a weapon that evokes his signature Fusion Cannon.

The Transformers Timeline series explores alternate versions of popular characters across different eras and worlds, giving them new ALT modes while retaining recognizable elements of their identities. This set brings that concept to a feudal-Japan-inspired setting with distinct transformations and themed weaponry for both characters.
