In 1985, a bold new concept joined the Cybertron forces—the Dinobots, a five-member unit that transforms into mechanical dinosaurs and quickly captured fans’ attention. Their commander, Grimlock, now returns in a completely new Missing Link design, equipped with expanded features and modernized engineering.

Grimlock transforms from a mechanical Tyrannosaurus into robot mode, retaining a structure that incorporates die-cast parts while dramatically improving articulation. In both dinosaur and robot forms, multiple movable joints allow for free, expressive posing, bringing a new level of playability to this classic character.

Colorful mechanical details that were once represented by stickers on the original toy are now recreated through three-dimensional sculpting and precise paintwork, enhancing realism and depth. The included Saber weapon features a silver-plated finish inspired by the Diaclone era, made from hard plastic with a sharp, refined blade shape. Also included are two handheld firearms: a Double Laser Gun and a Missile Launcher. While the missile-firing gimmick has been removed, the missiles can be attached and detached for imaginative display play.

As with C-11 Delta Magnus, a female human-type pilot figure is included and can be seated inside the cockpit located on the dinosaur’s back. The robot body also features a Secret Emblem—warm it with your finger to reveal the faction symbol. A stand-compatible joint hole is built into the back, allowing for dynamic action poses using a separately sold display stand.

The package is completed with a newly illustrated box design inspired by the original era, along with a collector card, making this release a perfect blend of nostalgia, refinement, and modern play value for Transformers fans.
