The threezero X Takayuki Takeya: Ideon (Monotone Ver.) is a breathtaking artistic masterpiece that took over five years to design, sculpt, and develop. This limited-edition release replicates the monotone color concept originally envisioned by renowned artist Takayuki Takeya during the design phase. Only 100 pieces are available worldwide, with just 40 distributed in Japan.

Based on the iconic anime Space Runaway Ideon (directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino in 1980), Takeya reimagines the titular robot, Ideon, as an ancient relic of the mysterious Sixth Civilization. This redesign emphasizes its alien origins, incorporating intricate geometric patterns across its surface that blur the line between aesthetic decoration and functional technology. While preserving elements of the original anime design, Takeya exaggerates certain aspects to reflect its extraterrestrial heritage. The monotone color scheme gives the figure the appearance of an unearthed artifact, adding an evocative, ancient aura.

Standing approximately 46 cm tall (42 cm to the top of the horns), this fully articulated figure boasts over 125 points of articulation, including individually movable finger joints. To ensure stability and precision, it features an internal die-cast metal frame. The figure is equipped with over five LED light-up features, including the eyes, Ideon Gauge, and the Ideon Sword ports on its wrists. Its stunning paintwork faithfully recreates Takeya’s hand-painted model, enhancing its unique textures and intricate details.
