Hot Toys’ prestigious Movie Masterpiece series welcomes another iconic addition from the legendary Star Wars saga. Straight from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, the feared Battle Droid & STAP set arrives as an incredibly detailed 1/6 scale collectible.

The battle droids served as the standard infantry units of the Trade Federation and later the Separatist Alliance, overwhelming enemies through sheer numbers and relentless efficiency. During the invasion of Naboo, these mass-produced combat droids were deployed across the battlefield alongside high-speed reconnaissance vehicles known as STAPs (Single Trooper Aerial Platforms), used for scouting, pursuit, and rapid assault operations.

This highly detailed 1/6 scale Battle Droid figure stands approximately 32cm tall and features over 26 points of articulation. Its slender mechanical body has been faithfully recreated with meticulous attention to the internal structures, joints, and panel details seen in the film. Advanced paint applications and industry-leading weathering techniques realistically reproduce scratches, dirt, and battlefield wear, enhancing the realism of the figure. The articulation system also allows the droid to recreate its folded storage mode as seen throughout the movie.

The set includes an E-5 blaster rifle, along with accessories such as a back-mounted antenna, a backpack with a retractable antenna, and binoculars. The articulated finger joints further expand posing possibilities, allowing for expressive battle and patrol displays.

Also included is a fully realized 1/6 scale STAP, standing approximately 32cm tall and designed to accommodate the Battle Droid figure. The STAP features highly detailed sculpting and realistic weathering effects that capture the worn mechanical appearance seen during the Naboo invasion. Multiple movable sections, including the grips, footrests, and joints, allow for dynamic display options, while the drive turbine is equipped with an LED light-up feature that emits a vivid orange glow for added realism.
