Yamato Sound Almanac 50th Premium: Symphonic Suite Battleship [Audio CD]

Japanese Original Edition, Anime Soundtracks, Brand New

Yamato Sound Almanac 50th Premium: Symphonic Suite Battleship [Audio CD] celebrates the 50th anniversary of Space Battleship Yamato with a newly remixed and remastered edition of the legendary symphonic suite.

Originally released on December 25, 1977, by Nippon Columbia, Symphonic Suite Space Battleship Yamato was a groundbreaking album where composer Hiroshi Miyagawa restructured and re-recorded the anime’s iconic BGM with a full orchestra. It became a landmark in anime soundtracks, setting a high standard for orchestral adaptations of anime music.

This special 50th-anniversary edition features a fresh remix created from the original multi-track tapes, bringing renewed clarity and depth to the legendary compositions. The CD release has been expertly mastered by Yumiko Yamashita, known for her work on the Yamato Sound Almanac series and Space Battleship Yamato 2202 soundtracks, ensuring a premium listening experience.
