S.H.FIGUARTS: Gridman the Hyper Agent - Thunder Gridman (Limited Edition) [Bandai Spirits]

Gridman, the Super God Combination!
From Gridman the Hyper Agent (Denkou Choujin Gridman), Thunder Gridman joins the S.H.Figuarts (Real Bone Carving Technique) lineup.

Using body scan data from original suit actor Hiroyuki Okano, the figure’s physique and skeletal structure were meticulously translated into sculpt form, faithfully recreating Thunder Gridman’s on-screen proportions. The sculpting process was supervised and supported by Tsuburaya Productions’ sculpting division LSS, along with Takafumi Kanbuchi, who was responsible for creating the original Thunder Gridman suit.

To capture the unique appeal of the original suit—crafted using a wide range of special effects techniques—this release combines two detailed approaches: precise sculpting and carefully applied tampo printing. Flexible materials are used in parts of the torso, while extension mechanisms in the shoulders and hip joints allow for natural, series-accurate poses. Partially articulated leg armor further improves stability and ground contact.

The set includes Thunder Grid Beam effect parts as seen in the film, along with dedicated support parts for recreating the powerful Drill Break. By removing the drills on both shoulders, iconic movie scenes can be faithfully reproduced. To expand posing options, two sets of interchangeable wrist parts (left and right) are included.

As a special original gimmick, Thunder Gridman can also hold the Plasma Blade and Barrier Shield from the separately sold S.H.Figuarts (Real Bone Carving Technique) Gridman. Combined with the open wrist parts, this allows for an even wider range of expressive and dynamic display possibilities.

Additionally, some parts are detachable, so you can combine it with the separately sold "SHFiguarts (Real Bone Carving Method) Gridman" to recreate the combination sequence from the movie.
