The player-controlled unit Ixpell from the robot shooter Formation Z is now available as a plastic model kit!

Formation Z is a side-scrolling shooter originally released in arcades in 1984, followed by a home console port in 1985.

The variable-form combat mecha Ixpell has been redesigned by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa and is now the first plastic model kit under the GM²I brand.

Featuring Ebikawa’s refined design, both the ground form (robot) and aerial form (fighter) boast sleek, sharp lines and an impressive silhouette.

Recreate both forms by swapping parts.
