RG 1/144: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY - Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu (Reissue) [Bandai Spirits]

Japanese Original Edition, Real Grade [RG] Figure

Expressing freedom to the fullest extent!

From Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY, the fearsome Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu joins the Real Grade (RG) lineup with an all-new interpretation that faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s distinctive design and overwhelming presence with Real Grade-level detail and engineering.

Based on the extensive mechanical research unique to the RG series, the Gold Frame Amatsu has been recreated with sharp proportions and intricate detailing that highlight the evolution of the unit from the original Gold Frame through to the later Gold Frame Amatsu Mina. Its dark color scheme, exposed gold frame elements, and uniquely aggressive silhouette are all captured with exceptional precision.

The kit includes a full range of the Amatsu’s signature weaponry, including the Trikeros Kai, Magano Ikutachi, and Magano Shirahoko. The enormous Magano Ikutachi mounted on the back features deployment and extension gimmicks, while the Magano Shirahoko also reproduces its firing mechanism for dynamic action displays.

For the first time in the RG lineup, the kit can also recreate the rare “unfinished” Amatsu configuration through part selection. Newly molded parts are included to accurately reproduce the differences in the head, left shoulder, left thigh, and the original unmodified Trikeros weapon recovered from the Blitz Gundam. The Trikeros can also be equipped with a beam saber blade attachment, further expanding display possibilities.

A wide selection of interchangeable hand parts is included for expressive posing, while newly designed exclusive marking stickers and realistic decals inspired by the Amatsu Mina further enhance the detailed mechanical appearance.
