Kemonomichi ☆ Girlish Square [Switch]

The protagonist, Nakamori Taiga, is an idol otaku who works at a curry shop in Akiba. His current obsession is “Animal Trail ☆ Girlish Square,” an indie idol group making their debut in Akiba. Though they’re new to the scene, Taiga dreams of seeing them rise to fame and perform at Japan’s most iconic venue, the Budokan. With a group of like-minded comrades, he dedicates his days to supporting their journey with unwavering otaku passion.

One night in Akiba, after missing the last train home, Taiga stumbles upon the members of Animal Trail practicing. As any devoted fan would, he tries to sneak a peek, only to be shocked by what he sees—sparkles surrounding the girls as they transform back from their magical forms. To his amazement, their stage outfits are actually magical girl costumes. That’s right, these idols are also magical girls!

Naturally, Taiga gets caught, and the magical beings who assist the girls give chase, ready to silence him. It is then revealed that these beings come from another world, and in order to save it, they must gather energy from humans. To achieve this, they’ve teamed up with the girls to help them achieve their dream of becoming idols.
