The Time Machine from Back to the Future Part II, the 1989 science-fiction film, joins Aoshima’s model kit lineup together with a newly sculpted figure of Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown designed to sit in the driver’s seat.

Faithfully reproduced inside and out, the vehicle captures its upgraded 2015 appearance as a flying time machine. The gull-wing doors remain functional after assembly, while dedicated parts allow the wheels to be positioned in flight mode. The rear-mounted Mr. Fusion home energy reactor is also recreated in detail.

The set includes a display base, a hoverboard in the same scale, and an unpainted Doc Brown figure for placement inside the cockpit. Compatible detail-up parts, sold separately, can also be used to further enhance the finished model.
