Universal Monsters: The Mummy's Tomb 1/8 - Plastic Model [X-PLUS]

Japanese Original Edition, Brand New Plastic Model

Joining the Universal Monsters model kit series is the terrifying Mummy from the 1942 horror classic The Mummy’s Tomb, faithfully recreating the unforgettable appearance of Kharis as portrayed by legendary horror icon Lon Chaney Jr.

Produced under an official license agreement with Chaney Entertainment, this model kit carefully captures not only the character’s proportions and intricate details, but also the haunting expression and subtle facial sculpting that showcased Lon Chaney Jr.’s powerful performance. The decayed wrappings covering Kharis’ body evoke the eerie feeling of a creature sealed away within a coffin for over 3,000 years, brought back to life by vengeance and ancient curses.

The included diorama base recreates the atmospheric pyramid setting seen in the opening scenes of the film, complete with detailed hieroglyph-covered walls and fallen torches that enhance the dark cinematic mood. Even after being struck by bullets, the Mummy relentlessly advances forward with its unsettling limp, creating the chilling presence that made the character a horror legend.
