Pirates of the Caribbean / Dead Man's Chest: Jack Sparrow (Pelegostos Chieftain) - Movie Masterpiece 1/6 [Hot Toys]

Japanese Original Edition, Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Figure

Hot Toys’ premium DX (Deluxe) series sets sail into Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest with an extraordinary 1/6 scale release of Jack Sparrow (Chief of the Pelegostos).

In this unforgettable chapter of the saga, Jack Sparrow—the cunning captain of the Black Pearl—faces the looming consequence of a blood pact made with the fearsome Davy Jones. As he searches for the legendary Dead Man’s Chest to escape his fate, he finds himself worshipped as a “god” by the cannibalistic Pelegostos tribe. This deluxe figure captures that wild and iconic moment from the film in stunning three-dimensional form.

Standing approximately 30 cm tall with over 30 points of articulation, this high-end collectible features a head sculpt officially approved for the likeness of Johnny Depp, complete with a movable eyeball system for lifelike gaze adjustment. Every detail is meticulously hand-painted, from the intricate Pelegostos face paint and realistic skin texture to the subtle wrinkles and facial hair. His signature dreadlocks and braided hairstyle are recreated using a refined blend of wool hair implants and sculpted elements for maximum authenticity.

The costume is crafted with premium materials, including a detailed vest, shirt, and genuine leather belt. The feather-and-snake headpiece attaches magnetically and can be removed for alternate display options. The belt is designed to hold multiple accessories, including the compass, keys, red stone pendant, and bird-foot amulet. Additional accessories such as a feather duster and linked-finger necklace enhance the display possibilities, while interchangeable hands—complete with sculpted rings—allow for expressive and dynamic poses.

The diorama-style base reflects the atmosphere of the Pelegostos tribe, featuring sculpted elements such as an impaled skull, and is accompanied by a striking bone-throne-inspired backboard that elevates the presentation into a true museum-quality display.

Marking the character’s return in deluxe form after nearly 18 years, this technologically advanced release fully captures the spirit, humor, and charisma of Jack Sparrow. A true centerpiece collectible for any Pirates of the Caribbean collection, this DX masterpiece is destined to become a treasured highlight for years to come.
