MODEROID: Panzer World Galient - Galient Heavy Armor Kai (Reissue) [Good Smile Company]

From the classic 1980s robot anime Panzer World Galient, the iron giant Galient joins Good Smile Company’s MODEROID series as a high-quality plastic model kit with extensive articulation, transformation gimmicks, and multiple build configurations.

Standing around 18 cm tall, the kit can be assembled as either the standard Galient or the upgraded Galient Heavy Armor Kai configuration. The Galient Sword can be displayed in three forms: standard blade, whip form, or the state just before being drawn from the forearm. The whip blade measures approximately 37 cm and uses insert injection molding to combine a flexible metal-core cord with plastic blade sections as a single integrated part.

The model can fully transform into the Big Falcon, Panzer Falcon, and Strike Vehicle forms. Its arsenal includes the Galient Sword, Heavy Cannon, Flying Cannon, and Shield. The Heavy Cannon can connect to the leg via the included lead wire to recreate its energy tube, and can also combine with the Shield. The Shield itself features extendable stakes for use in fixed-gun emplacement configurations.

The cockpit hatch can be opened to reveal the spherical internal unit seen in the anime, while molded colors and pre-painted parts allow the finished model to closely reproduce its on-screen appearance straight from assembly. Compatible same-scale MODEROID releases such as Zowell and Skarts are also available separately, expanding the Panzer World lineup.
