MODEROID: Cowboy Bebop - Swordfish II 1/48 [Good Smile Company]

From the anime Cowboy Bebop, Swordfish II, the iconic spacecraft piloted by Spike Spiegel, joins the MODEROID DX-SCALE series as a premium 1/48 scale model packed with screen-accurate features and mechanical gimmicks.

Supervised by mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, this high-end model faithfully recreates the sleek form of the legendary ship while incorporating numerous functions seen in the anime. Metal parts are used in the main wings, which feature folding mechanisms and movable control surfaces. The model also includes deployable landing gear, a rotating and extendable plasma cannon, a removable cockpit unit, an opening canopy, and opening air brakes on the engine section. Two cockpit units are included—one pre-painted and one clear version for custom painters. To complete the display, unpainted mini figures of Spike Spiegel and Ein are included, along with an adjustable display stand. Thanks to the color-separated runners and pre-painted parts, the model achieves an anime-accurate appearance right out of the box.
