M.S.G Modeling Support Goods: Futsu no Mitama - Virtuous Style 04 (Plastic Model) (Reissue) [Kotobukiya]

Japanese Original Edition, Plastic Model - Optional Parts

The VIRTUOUS STYLE Futsunomitama by Kotobukiya is the fourth entry in the VIRTUOUS STYLE weapon series, a line of accessories specially designed for female character plastic model kits.

Inspired by the pair of sacred swords known as Futsunomitama, this set reimagines them with a sci-fi aesthetic and includes two single-edged blades: a long straight sword and a uniquely shaped curved sword. A large scabbard is also included and can sheath the connected blade configuration.

The straight sword features a mitsudomoe pattern on the hand guard and measures approximately 17.5 cm from handle to tip, giving it an impressive oversized presence for character model displays. The hand guard can be removed and attached to the curved sword, while the straight and curved blades can also be connected to form a single combined sword.

Designed by Hiryuu Koubou, known for creating feature-rich weapons for character models, this set comes pre-painted in three colors: pearl white for the blades, red for the guards, and gray for the hilts. The result is a cohesive finish straight from assembly, with a polished look uncommon for an M.S.G. weapon kit.
