The VIRTUOUS STYLE Bayonet by Kotobukiya is the fifth entry in the VIRTUOUS STYLE weapon series, a line of accessories specially designed for character plastic model kits.

Named after a legendary sword, this stylish bayonet features a highly versatile design that can be separated into a double-edged blade and a revolver. When switching from bayonet mode to gun mode, the grip can be adjusted using the sliding mechanism built into the circular frame, while the revolver’s chamber is made as a separate rotating part for added play value.

The gun body can fold open like a real revolver, allowing reloading scenes to be recreated with the included speed loaders. Dedicated mounting joints and holsters are included for both blade and gun modes, making it easy to display the weapon attached to compatible character models.

Designed by Hiryuu Koubou, known for creating feature-rich weapons for character model kits, this set also comes pre-painted in three colors: black for the blade, and silver and gunmetal for the gun. The result is a cohesive finish straight from assembly, with a premium look uncommon for an M.S.G. weapon kit.
