From Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, Wing Gundam Zero joins Bandai Spirits’ MGSD (Master Grade SD) series as a special plastic model kit combining SD proportions with Master Grade-level engineering and detail.

All exterior armor has been changed to black and gray molded colors, creating a striking dark appearance. Structural-color-coated components are incorporated beneath the armor, producing an irregular rainbow-like shimmer through the gaps in the black plating. Because of the specialized treatment, the appearance of the coating varies between individual parts, giving each kit a distinctive finish.

The newly introduced Structural Coating technology recreates the optical colors seen on soap bubbles, CDs, and insect wings. Its appearance shifts depending on the viewing angle, adding depth and brilliance to the internal mechanical details.

The main wings use a five-layer structure with independently movable sections, creating both volume and a broad range of posing options. Opening the wings reveals the structural-coated plating inside alongside clear parts featuring a reflection-cut surface treatment. The kit can also transform into Neo Bird Mode through the use of interchangeable components.

Both the exterior armor and internal frame feature dense, Master Grade-level mechanical detailing throughout.
