Macross: VF-1J Armored Valkyrie 1/72 - Plastic Model [Hasegawa]

Japanese Original Edition, Brand New Plastic Model 

The Armored Valkyrie from The Super Dimension Fortress Macross is recreated as a 1/72 scale plastic model kit by Hasegawa, featuring interchangeable parts that allow the missile hatches to be displayed open or closed.

The head, main torso base, shoulders, upper arms, ankles, and gun pod use parts from the standard Battroid kit. New armor parts are provided for the chest, shoulders, forearms, waist, and back, while the missile hatches on the chest, shoulders, and legs can be shown in either their open or closed states by swapping parts.

New round-finger hand parts based on the TV version have also been developed, with a right hand for holding the gun pod and a left open hand included. The planned molded colors are blue-gray, red, white, and clear, with package artwork by Hidetaka Tenjin.

The armor cannot be removed to convert the model into the standard Battroid form.
