Supervised by legendary mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi, this latest interpretation of the Griffon has been carefully refined with exceptional attention to proportions and anime accuracy. The sleek, aggressive silhouette of the rival Labor has been faithfully recreated, capturing the intimidating presence that made the Griffon one of the most iconic machines in the Patlabor series.

Just like the previously released AV-98 Ingram Unit 1 and Unit 2, the various sealing covers across the body are realistically reproduced using plastic materials, enhancing the mechanical realism of the model. Combined with the built-in articulation system, the kit allows collectors to recreate dynamic close-quarters combat scenes that showcase the Griffon’s overwhelming fighting capabilities.

The cockpit hatch can be opened without requiring any part swapping, while pull-out mechanisms in the wrists and ankles provide an impressive range of motion without compromising the model’s sculpted appearance. Five interchangeable hand parts are included as well, allowing for a variety of expressive poses, including the Griffon’s memorable thumbs-up gesture from the anime.

The luxurious package design also features an original illustration by renowned mecha illustrator Shinichi Hagiwara, making the box itself a collectible display piece.
