From the Megami Device “beautiful girl × mechanic” series comes BUSTER DOLL Paladin, the fourth model to feature the completely redesigned Machinica Block2-M body! Developed by Maki Asai, this new body structure has been extensively reworked to improve ease of assembly, expandability through interchangeable parts, and overall proportions.

Designed specifically around the new body, BUSTER DOLL Paladin features concept design by Megami Device producer Toriyama Torio, mechanical design by Task, and character design by Parsley. Its layered armor construction and numerous connection points allow for a more systematic building and customization experience than previous Megami Device kits.

[Accessories / Gimmicks]

• Uses the completely newly designed “Machinica Block2-M” as its base body, developed to pursue both ease of assembly and beautiful proportions to the fullest.
• Includes weapon and armor parts arranged in layered structures resembling multi-layered armor, along with highly expandable parts featuring numerous joint holes.
• In addition to costume parts inspired by a blazer, chest and waist parts are included for assembling the model as a pure, unarmored base body.
• Includes 3 pre-painted face parts as well as an undetailed blank face part.
• Both an armored “Armed Mode” and an armor-free “Unarmed Mode” can be recreated by exchanging parts.
• All 3 types of wrist parts are made of plastic. The weapon-holding hands are shaped to support both round and square grips, allowing weapons to be held simply by inserting them.
• Includes a newly designed dedicated stand that provides firmer support for standing poses than the previous stand.
• Thanks to the 3 mm diameter joints positioned throughout the model and head compatibility, parts can be used together with existing series such as “M.S.G,” “Frame Arms,” “Frame Arms Girl,” “HEXA GEAR,” “Sousai Shoujo Teien,” and “ARCANADEA.”

[What is Megami Device?]

Megami Device is a plastic model series based on the concept of a “near-future battle hobby,” where 14 cm-tall self-supporting figure robots can be built, customized, and battled much like plastic models.

The series is built around the “Machinica Series” body designed by articulated-figure specialist Maki Asai, with characters and mechanical elements created by a variety of designers. The parts are molded in multiple colors, while the faces come pre-painted with tampo printing, allowing the model to closely resemble its intended appearance simply through assembly.

The use of 3 mm joint holes provides compatibility between models within the series and also allows combination with many previously released Kotobukiya plastic model parts.
