METAL BUILD: Kamen Rider - Zero-One [Bandai Spirits]
METAL BUILD Figure
> Brand New
Original Japanese Edition, METAL BUILD Figure
Kamen Rider Zero-One finally joins the METAL BUILD series! With new mechanisms, upgraded materials, and dramatic effect parts, this figure pursues the ultimate sense of heroic presence. A new era’s No.1 Rider is born. Designed with arrangement by product designer Taketo Yamashita, Zero-One has been rebuilt with brand-new internal structures inspired by a hero’s physique. Diecast is used extensively throughout the joints and structural points, while metallic finishes and layered materials enhance realism. A wide array of effect parts recreates scenes from the show, capturing a newly constructed hero ready to leap toward his dream.
[Design]
In addition to the intent behind the original Zero-One design, Yamashita—who worked on the suit—created a new arrangement specifically for METAL BUILD. With METAL BUILD’s unique interpretation added, a completely new charm emerges.
[Material]
A form redesigned with higher density is brought to life using various materials, creating an overwhelming sense of power befitting a hero.
[Action]
A newly engineered action system was developed specifically for Zero-One, based on realistic human anatomy and motion.
■ Multi-joint neck system: A segmented neck joint with trailing armor expresses smooth rotation and extension.
■ Torso twist system (front): The mechanism expresses twisting of muscles and skeletal structure.
■ Independent neck block mechanism: The neck block moves independently, allowing fine positional adjustments.
■ Torso twist system (back): Rear armor moves in sync, emulating human motion.
■ Thigh cymbal mechanism: Metal rigidity expands the motion range, with sliding parts ensuring a natural suit silhouette.
■ Double-joint elbow & knee system: Joints include twisting capability in addition to bending, enabling powerful, dynamic posing. Together, these systems reproduce the bones and muscle connections of a moving body, allowing fluid, lifelike articulation.
[Options]
Eight armor points across the body can equip effect parts. Chest and thigh effects include foil-printed circuit patterns. Zero-One’s transformable weapon, the Attache Calibur, is included and converts from attaché case mode into a long blade via a two-stage expansion.
[Stand]
The newly designed METAL BUILD display base includes effects inspired by Zero-One’s transformation sequence, and the circular frame incorporates design elements reminiscent of Satellite Zea. The base can transform to support dynamic Rider Kick displays, producing a one-of-a-kind Rising Impact pose unique to METAL BUILD.
[Set Contents]
