April 3, 1971 marks the historic debut of the original Kamen Rider series.

As a kind of “opening act” leading up to the franchise’s 50th anniversary, this bath towel project was planned to help set the stage and warm up the audience for the celebrations ahead.

Production had been steadily underway for some time, but—much to our disappointment—it wasn’t ready in time for that symbolic April 3rd date. So, with a few tears and just a little delay, we’re proud to finally release it today.
