Strike Fantasy x Shimano: Black Bass [Kaiyodo]

Japanese Original Edition, Kaiyodo Figure

Envisioning the next fishing trip, I can't help but smile, imagining the target fish attacking the lure. This Strike Fantasy Figure captures that very fantasy of an angler in a stunning representation.

In the quiet stillness of the lakeside, where the morning mist lingers, I cast a popper towards the edge of the standing trees. Inside, I silently shout, "Get it!" as I focus all my energy on working the lure. Suddenly, beneath the popper, a massive bass appears, its mouth wide open. After a brief pause, the hook sets—my heart races at the thought of that exhilarating moment. The excitement is almost too much to imagine.

[Sculptor's Commentary - Murai Taro]

Driven by a passion to create something I truly love with people who share that same enthusiasm, this figure was born from that very desire. The selected fish species and each scene, carefully chosen after many discussions with SHIMANO, reflect experiences every angler has lived or imagined. Sculpted with a deep connection to my own vision of fishing, and with the invaluable attention to detail from the SHIMANO staff, this figure feels incredibly authentic and persuasive, capturing the essence of that fishing fantasy.
