ARTPLA: Evil God Soldier [Kaiyodo]

Japanese Original Edition, Brand New Plastic Model Kit

The original prototype was a huge resin cast kit released in 1986. This ‘Evil God Soldier’, which is at the origin of Kaiyodo modelling, was greeted with shock in the hobby scene at the time for its innovative techniques and sense of style, such as the body modelled using a variety of materials and the bellows section incorporating perspective expressions.
Thirty-eight years later, on the occasion of Kaiyodo's 60th anniversary, this work is finally being revived as a plastic kit.
The huge prototype was resized after a 3D scan. All parts have been refined while retaining the feel of the materials used for modelling with clay, springs, aluminium foil, etc. at the time.
The moulding colour of the kit is bronze, which gives a massive finish just by assembling it without colouring.
