From Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, the HG 1/144 Ground Type Gundam - The Ground War Set by Bandai Spirits expands the standard Ground Type Gundam kit with two hover trucks and a range of option parts in a Hard Graph-style configuration.

A GM Head is also included, allowing the Ground Type Gundam [GM Head] seen in the series to be recreated. The windshield is molded in clear plastic and can also be used to enhance the separately sold HG Ground Type GM.

Two hover trucks are included, each featuring opening and closing dozers and hatches, while the sonar unit can be swapped to reproduce its deployed and stored states. Additional option parts for the cargo beds are also provided, adding further detail and display possibilities to the set.
