The HG 1/144 Hydra Gundam from New Mobile Report Gundam W Dual Story: G-Unit by Bandai Spirits brings Hydra Gundam to the HG lineup with a fully newly molded design based on newly drawn artwork by mechanical designer Junichi Akutsu.

This kit recreates Hydra Gundam in the latest HG format, including its distinctive head design and leg structure with linked gimmicks for dynamic posing. The model can also transform into its signature High-Mobility Mobile Armor Form, with transformation features concentrated around the legs and waist for a newly designed conversion system.

In MS Combat Mode, the kit includes open hand parts, an EMF shield with a new deployment gimmick, a newly designed buster cannon that can be mounted on the right shoulder, and four beam sabers that can be attached to the rear arms. The sabers can also be connected together, expanding display options.

For the High-Mobility Mobile Armor Form, the rear arms feature multiple articulation points for flexible movement, while the included lead wires allow for more dynamic posing displays. The kit is presented in a full-color package featuring newly drawn artwork.
